NJ CSC Sets Date for the 2017 Police Sergeant’s Exam

The wait is finally over for police sergeant candidates as the New Jersey Civil Service Commission set the date for the 2017 examination. According to their announcement, the Police Sergeant’s “examination will be administered on Saturday, October 28, 2017.”
CSC is providing candidates an opportunity to “self-select” a testing location for this exam and you must do so via the link in the email they sent. We do not have the link and we do not know if the link is unique for each person or exam. Therefore, we encourage you to check your junk mail or spam for this notification. If you did not receive an email and you have signed up for the 2017 Police Sergeant Promotional Exam, you should contact the NJ CSC as soon as possible.
The selection for each location is limited and done on a first-come, first served basis. According to the CSC: “Candidates who do not participate in this method of scheduling will be automatically assigned a test location from the remaining available locations.”
