The Most Comprehensive Sheriff's Promotional Course Available
Course participants will receive a review of all legal topics and statutes listed in the New Jersey Civil Service Commission’s Orientation Guide for the Sheriff’s Officer Promotional Title Series. Participants will also receive instruction on legal topics formulated by Larry E. Holtz, Esq. who has over 30 years of experience in the field of law enforcement, police training and the successful preparation of promotional candidates. The training will include details on new laws, updates to existing statutes, and explanations of all relevant statutes and cases. Free legal updates and notifications are provided with the course until the examination is administered. Our course offers the most in-class instruction available!
Instruction on examination strategies
Our course includes proven examination strategies that will provide you with an advantage over your competition. All aspects of the course are integrated with techniques and strategies designed to maximize each participant’s ability to understand, retain and recall information.
Instructor administered “final” exam
A simulated examination will be administered during the course to ensure our participants know what to expect on the day of their examination. Participants will also receive feedback on their responses to further aid in their preparation.
Instruction for each textbook
Detailed instruction will be given for every textbook appearing on the New Jersey Civil Service Commission’s Orientation Guide for the Sheriff’s Officer Promotional Title Series. The instruction will be complemented by study guides, exams and additional materials that have been prepared exclusively for this course.
Rank specific classes
There are key differences in the examinations administered for the rank of Sergeant, Lieutenant and Captain. Our course offers rank specific instruction developed solely for the test you are taking.
